Meeting with colleagues from Belarus

On the 29th of March the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Omsk Experimental Plant” of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Science was visited by our colleagues from Belarus: A. Bliznyuk, General Manager of the Experimental Plant of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences, and S. Khmel, Head of the experimental production of the Research and Implementation Centre of the Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Science.
The guests also visited the plant “LenOm” in Kalachinsk, which is engaged in production of cotton wool from fiber flax. They got acquainted with the production of “Omsk Experimental Plant”, participated in the conference with the specialists of “Omsk Experimental Plant”, scientists of the Siberian Research and Development Agricultural Institute and heads of Departments of the Ministry of Agriculture.  During the conference there were determined the fields of joint activity on mechanization, growing fiber flax, potato and other vegetables.  The return visit of specialists of Omsk Plant to Minsk is scheduled for June 2012.
